A few important notes once you have subscribed to our newsletter:

1. Once you subscribe, you should receive an email from us thanking you for joining our mailing list and subscribing to Rider Insider Plus. If you don’t receive it within moment of subscribing, check to see if it ended up in your Junk Mail folder.

Here’s why:
Sometimes when you receive an email for the first time from a new brand or company that your email program doesn’t recognize, it thinks that the email might be spam even if you willingly subscribed to receive it. If this happens, simply add the “sending domain name” of the sender to your “safe senders” list, and next time you’ll receive the email into your Inbox instead of your Junk Mail folder.

2. How to add our sending domain name to your Safe Senders list
If you find our FreeRide Games email in your Junk Mail folder, follow your Email Program’s guidelines for adding our sending domain name “newsletter@news.freeridegames.com” to your Safe Senders list. Make sure you mark our email as “Not Spam” if you have that option.

3. View our newsletters in a groovy new way!
The amazing new ActiveMail add-on allows you to enjoy rich, interactive content without ever leaving your inbox. You can view videos, photo albums, slideshows, fill out forms, even play online – right from within your email!

From time to time, we will send emails containing this sort of cool content, but you’ll only be able to view them if you download the ActiveMail add-on, so get it now (it’s FREE!) and stay tuned for our next ActiveMail email!

As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure that as many FreeRide gamers as possible receive their weekly newsletters without a hitch, we have recently taken steps to improve our email deliverability.
This basically means that we will soon be sending our weekly newsletters and other important email alerts from a new email sending domain. The sending domain “newsletter@freeridegames.com” will be phased out, and instead we will send all our emails from the new sending domain of “newsletter@news.freeridegames.com“.

The period in which emails are sent out for the first few weeks from a new sending domain is known as a “ramp up” period, in which the new domain builds up its “reputation”. Unfortunately, one of the side effects of a ramp up is that for some subscribers, our emails may accidentally end up in your Junk Mail folder instead of your inbox.

Luckily, this can be fixed super easily. All you have to do to ensure that our emails end up in your inbox every single time, is add our new sending domain to your “safe senders list”.
If you’re not sure how to do it, simply refer to the instructions below for each of the major email clients.

Microsoft Outlook:

1. On the Tools menu, click Options
2. On the Preferences tab, click Junk E-mail
3. On the Safe Senders tab, click Add
4. Add newsletter@news.freeridegames.com where it says “Add address”.
5. Click OK

AOL:

You must add newsletter@news.freeridegames.com to your AOL address book as follows:

1. Search for email from us in the Spam folder. If you find an email in the Spam folder, then open it and click the “Not Spam” button.
2. Click the Contacts link (or open your AOL Address Book)
3. Click the +New button.
4. In the  New Contact window, newsletter@news.freeridegames.com into the ‘Primary E-Mail 1’ field
5. Click “Create”

Hotmail:

You must add newsletter@news.freeridegames.com to your “Safe List” as follows:

1. First, if you find email from freeridegames.com in your Hotmail junk folder, open the email and click “Not Junk”
2. Next, check to see if freeridegames.com appears in the “Blocked Senders” list. If so, select it and click on the “Remove” button.
3. Next, open your mailbox and click “Options” in the upper right hand corner
4. At the top of the page, click on the “Junk E-mail Protection” link
5. Next, click on “Safe List”, which is down near the bottom
6. Copy and paste newsletter@news.freeridegames.com where it says “Type an address or domain”
7. Click the “Add” button

Yahoo!:

You must set up a “filter”, but first:

If you find email from freeridegames.com in your “Yahoo! bulk” folder, open the email and click “Not Spam”
If you find mail from freeridegames.com in your “Blocked Addresses” list, select the email and click “Remove Block”

Now to create the filter:

1. Open Yahoo! Mail and click on “Mail Options” in the upper right hand corner.
2. Select “Filters” (in the bottom left corner)
3. On the Filters page, click “Add”
4. Select the “From header:” rule, and add “contains” and freeridegames.com to match all mail from freeridegames.com.
5. Click the “Choose Folder” pull down menu and select ‘Inbox’
6. Pick the Add Filter button

Gmail:

1. First, if you find email from theWebalyst.com in your Gmail spam folder, select our email and click the “Not Spam” button
2. Next, open an email that you have received from us
3. Click on the little down-pointing-triangle-arrow next to “Reply”:
4. Click “Add theWebalyst.com to Contacts list”

Once you have finished rating us & leaving a comment, scroll to find your comment so that it’s nice & clear on your screen. Click on the “Print Screen” button on your keyboard, open a fresh email, right-click inside the body of the email and select “paste” to paste the screenshot into the email, and then send it to freeridegames.reviews@gmail.com (click on the image below to enlarge).
